About Our Organization

Our Mission

The primary purpose of the National IV Association (N.I.V.A) is to  promote and enhance consumer health and safety by establishing and  maintaining high standards of professional practice and excellence  through training, national  certification and renewal of credentials for nurses, EMT’s, Para-Medics  and other licensed personnel who provide I.V. services. The National  I.V. Association’s mission is also to provide excellence in training  through online delivery of video tutorials and practice tests prepared by  medically licensed professionals who work in both the educational sector  and healthcare. N.I.V.A strives to promote educational training based  upon the most up to date accepted standards of care through research  driven literature as documented in educational repositories used in the  medical field.
